Shipping/Returns/Preorders TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Here is a general guide of what to expect regarding orders.

TURN AROUND TIME: READY TO SHIP (RTS) items are typically shipped within 7 to 14 business days of purchase depending on vendor.

Please advise, you may receive your order in separate packages since we source products from multiple vendors.

PREORDERS/MADE TO ORDER:

We have most of our preorders and tees made to order. Please note the ETA provided is just that, an "estimated time of arrival". Although items typically come in the estimated time frame, delays can sometimes occur during the production or shipping. By ordering a preorder item, you agree to accept these terms and agree to wait.

If an item takes 16 weeks you will be given the option to cancel and receive store credit and a discount coupon for a future order. We do not do cash refunds for any orders. If you would like more info as to why we have adopted a store credit only policy please email us. We will be happy to explain. 

If your item states it is a Preorder/made to order, please note that some of these item’s ship from overseas and take longer especially if the vendor has a large order or if it ships by boat so please see individual listing for more details. 

A general rule of thumb for wait time for Graphic tees and handmade jewelry is 4 to 8 weeks. For leggings, joggers, hoodies, and some specialty accessories, please allow approximately 6 to 12 weeks. Usually, items take about 4 to 8 weeks but I like to quote a longer wait time in case of delays. Please check listing to see individual time frames.  Every item and vendor has different wait times.

If you cannot agree to wait, please select only items that are ready to ship. A ready to ship item will not have a due date on it or have an eta in the title or description.  We now offer thousands of ready to ship items and many ship the very next day!!

ORDERS CANNOT BE CANCELLED ALTERED OR DELETED ONCE SUBMITTED. 

Ready to ship Orders are shipped via USPS, and on occasion UPS depending on weight and usually arrive within one week of shipment. Sometimes there can be shipping delays and is not a reflection on our business. 

IF PRE-ORDER ITEMS ARE ORDERED WITH IN STOCK ITEMS, ITEMS MAY BE HELD TO SHIP TOGETHER WHEN THE PREORDER ARRIVES UNLESS SEPARATE SHIPPING IS CHOSEN AT CHECKOUT! 

We are not responsible for delays in shipping, lost or damaged items, or products marked "Delivered" by USPS. Orders will receive a tracking number once the order has been shipped. If tracking states that your order has been delivered, it is YOUR responsibility to contact USPS and file a claim if necessary. However, we are always here to help file a claim. If a package is lost or stolen, we are not responsible for refunding or replacing merchandise. It is the responsibility of the shipping carrier.  We will not issue store credit or refund for postal service losses. 

Please make sure your address is entered correctly. We will resend packages returned to us for this reason at your expense. If you notice your address isn't correct after submitting payment, please notify us immediately so we can attempt to notify the vendor.

 If an order has to be canceled or is lost in transit from overseas to us, you will receive STORE CREDIT ONLY. While we understand this can be upsetting, we do this to protect ourself from further losses.

WE DO NOT DO CASH REFUNDS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. The only time you will receive a cash refund is if we file a claim for you on your behalf with the postal system and they issue us a check. Then and only then will we issue a cash refund for the loss.

Occasionally an item is oversold on our website. You will be notified and offered store credit if this occurs plus a coupon for a future order due to the mishap.

If a Preorder item cannot be fulfilled we will try to have it made elsewhere for you. If this is not possible, you will receive store credit for the item amount and shipping fees paid plus coupon for a future purchase. 

Returns:

We only offer returns on defects. We do not accept returns for any other reason.

Return items MUST be postmarked within 7 days of receiving your order. They must be approved prior to returning and not all items are eligible for return.  No refunds will be issued, only store credit.

 Merchandise must be in original condition, including original packaging and tags attached. Items must be odor free. Items that smell of laundry detergents, cigarette smoke, perfume, etc can not be resold so they cannot be accepted.

Return shipping and handling is the customer’s responsibility and shipping charges on the original purchase will not be credited back to you. You may return to us via the carrier of your choice, but we recommend obtaining tracking on your package.

  We reserve the right to reject any item returned to us. Any items that appear to have been worn, covered in pet hair, altered, have had the tags removed, or are received by us after the return period will be returned to the customer at the customer’s expense.

Defective Items:

Please inspect your order immediately upon receipt. If you believe you have received defective or damaged merchandise, you MUST contact us within 7 days of receipt. If we do not receive notification that you have received a damaged item in 7 days, the return will be rejected.

Before sending any merchandise back please send an email to sarahbearsbearycharming@gmail.com or info@sarahbearsboutique.com for return shipping address & any further instructions.

Once an order has been placed, the order cannot be canceled, and items cannot be removed from the order.

Sadly I have had to add this section due to a number of people failing to read listings and filing chargebacks.

If you file a claim or chargeback against us and you receive both products and money back, we will file criminal charges against you for internet fraud/theft in your county/state.

We prosecute to the fullest extent of the law. You will also be subject to court fees and damages associated with the theft of our product. Receiving money back and product is theft. 

Filing frivolous claims against us for non receipt is included in this meaning you cannot just file a claim because you decided you don't wish to wait for your preorder any longer.

By purchasing you agree that you will not to file a claim or chargeback without speaking to us first and waiting the FULL WAIT TIME. 

Filing claims prior to the ETA of a preorder will result in being banned from ordering as well and we report to all bad apples Facebook groups when frivolous claims are filed. We will also refuse to refund entire order amount in this case and you will be responsible for applicable fees such as dispute fees, shipping rerouting fees and restocking fees of up to 15% of purchase total

SO PLEASE READ WHAT YOU ARE ORDERING! 

You agree to these terms when clicking pay and these terms are a legal binding agreement between you and Sarah Bear's Boutique. 

To recap. Many products ship directly to you and once processed we cannot stop the shipment. 

Do not order preorder or custom or preorder items if you cannot wait and if you receive both products and money back, we will he forced to file charges and take you to court for damages.

P.S. cancellations and loss do not happen often. We have nearly 10,000 positively fulfilled orders and an A BBB rating. We just have to post these terms due to a few bad apples taking advantage.
